As we approach the end of the first week, I'd just like to say a MASSIVE Thankyou to my staff who have leapt straight back into the routine of running the coffee shop and Deli.

From left to Right, Leslie, Maisy and Finn with myself on the end. I couldn't have done it without them and the team work and spirit has been clear to see.

Also not forgetting my weekenders Jacob, Eliza and Jersey who have all stepped up to their first job with enthusiasm and capability.

We have delicious cakes to go with your Coffee including this weeks selection of a traditional Coffee and Walnut cake, a Victorian Fruit and Tea cake, a Vegan Black Forest Gateau, a Gluten free Carrot cake and a Gluten free Cherry and almond Madiera Cake.

We try to vary options each week and I aim to cater to all allergies that I can.
The Coffee and Walnut has been there just over an hour and sold 4 slices

Our Delicatessen is fully stocked with lots of nice Cakes and pastries, meats and cheeses!

We have enough weekend applications for now and will work our way through them

WE ARE HIRING!

Beatties deli and Cafe have a vacancy for experienced staff to work weekends with a possibility of a few hours during the week.
Duties will include using the Coffee machine, waiting at table, serving on the Deli counter and some kitchen duties.

We also have vacancies for part time weekend staff, full training provided, would suit school leavers.

We are excited to announce that Beatties Deli and Coffee shop will be opening again soon.

We are working hard on the refurbishment and making sure we are stocked up with all the goodies you know and love.

Our menu has had a revamp but we will still be serving your old favourites.

Some of the faces you know are still going to be here but we are also RECRUITING for weekend and part time staff.

Sadly, after a great deal of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Beatties.

Our last day open to customers will be Friday 17th July.

Like so many independent hospitality businesses, the last year has been incredibly challenging. Here in Holmfirth, the ongoing disruption has made an already difficult trading environment even tougher and, unfortunately, the business hasn’t been able to weather the storm.

More than anything, though, I want this post to simply say thank you.

Over the last 15 months, together we’ve built something really special. It’s been a privilege to welcome so many of you through our doors, and somewhere along the way many of you stopped feeling like customers and became friends. Your support, kindness and encouragement have meant more than you’ll ever know.

To my wonderful team, thank you for everything you’ve given to Beatties. Your hard work, dedication and genuine care have been a huge part of what made it such a lovely place to be.

Although this chapter is coming to an end, I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories and friendships that I’ll take with me.

If you’d like to visit us one last time, we’d love to see you before we close on Friday 17th July.

Thank you, sincerely, for being part of my Beatties journey. It’s been a privilege to share it with you.

💙💙💙Hi all,

Due to the extreme heat Beatties will only be opening for breakfast service (9.30-11.30) tomorrow then again from 5-9 for the tapas.

Sorry to disappoint but the welfare & health of the team is of utmost importance so we felt this was the best thing to do.

🩷🩷Sip & Paint Event Cancelled🩷🩷

Sadly, we have made the decision to cancel our Sip & Paint event that was due to take place at Beatties on Tuesday 23rd June.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough bookings to go ahead with the event, so we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel.

I have tried to contact everyone individually who paid a deposit, but I also wanted to reinforce it with this post in case anyone hasn’t seen my message.

A huge thank you to everyone who did book and pay a deposit. All deposits will, of course, be refunded in full.
You are very welcome to call into Beatties to collect your deposit back in cash, or I’m happy to arrange a bank transfer instead. Please just contact me directly and I’ll get this sorted for you.
I’m really sorry for any disappointment caused, and thank you as always for your support.
