Buying food in this way is less wasteful and reduces packaging, both of which which are good for the planet. �

Pop in and see what bargains you can get before the shop closes for good.

On Saturday we will put a post on here showing equipment and furnishings still for sale which will also be advertised on various online market places.

We’ve had a lot of interest in the equipment and furnishings, so if there’s anything you would like, please be quick. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!!

We are likely to be closing before the end of May so not long left to grab your bargains.

There seems to be some confusion over the closing down of the shop, so we just wanted to clarify this for you all.

We are having a closing down sale starting from Monday 13th May. All stock and equipment is being sold at a reduced price.

The actual closing date of the shop is yet to be decided but will be some time in June.

We would like to thank you all for your support over the last 2 years 🥰

We would love to support this amazing charity with donations for families in need this Christmas.

They are desperately low on gifts at the moment and have hundreds of children to help.

If you can donate anything that they need but cannot get to their premises to deliver, please feel free to take to the shop and hand to Steve. We can then drop off for you 🥰

Christmas Cake Packs are still flying off the shelves but we are struggling to get the ingredients from our supplier at the moment.

As a result, we intend to put overdue ordered Christmas packs on general sale in an attempt to keep up with demand.

As mentioned previously, we are very limited on space so we can’t hold the packs back indefinitely.

The following list are ordered packs that are overdue for collection and will be going onto general sale today.

If your name is in this list and you still require your Xmas pack, you will need to re-order.

We have 36 packs made up that were due for collection between 14th Oct and today.

We would be most grateful if you could get in contact with us to confirm if you still require these.

Any packs not collected by COB on Sat, will be released for general sale on Monday.

🎄Christmas Cake Packs 🎄

We have had a number of customers recently commenting that they have always been able to just buy the Xmas packs off the shelf and haven’t needed to order them.

We just wanted to explain the reasons behind this new approach.

Last Christmas, we had two full time members of staff and additional help from family as and when required. This allowed us to keep up with demand -just!

This year is totally different. I now have another full time job so Steve is running the shop completely on his own. I help in the evenings and at weekends.

There simply isn’t enough hours in the day to make up the Xmas cake packs required for demand. Hence why we have asked for people to order in advance.

It takes hours and hours to weigh out all the separate ingredients and make up the Xmas packs. We do not buy them in ready made.

We can buy them in ready made but they will cost considerably more than we charge. This maybe the route we will have to take going forward but it’s still under review.

We will NOT be handing over pre-ordered packs to customers who just walk into the shop hoping to get one off the shelf as this is not fair on those customers who have ordered!

If we have spare packs to sell, they will be on the shelf as normal.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for your continued support
