Good morning and happy half-day Wednesday from C M Triggs Fishmongers 🐟🐟🐟

We have an excellent ice counter again today and our chef has been very busy. We have a fully stocked freezer with our home-made fishcakes and Triggs Signature Fish Pie (gluten free option also available), our new Yellow Monkfish Curry, Fish Curry, Prawn Curry, Mussel Curry, jumbo sized fish fingers, Thai Salmon fishcakes, Mozzarella and Spring Onion fishcakes, salt & pepper squid, scampi, along our usual excellent choice of freezer produce.

The weekend is here and we have another beautiful ice counter for you, along with a fully stocked freezer with all your favourites. Our Homemade fishcakes and Triggs Signature Fish Pie (gluten free option also available), our new Yellow Monkfish Curry, Fish Curry, Prawn Curry, Mussel Curry, jumbo sized fish fingers, Thai Salmon fishcakes, Mozzarella and Spring Onion fishcakes, salt & pepper squid, scampi, along our usual excellent choice of freezer produce.

Our Recipe of the Week is Pan Seared Halibut with Lemon Caper Sauce, and Tim has some superb Halibut Loins in stock, freshly delivered. He will be more than happy to prep them for you.

🦐A SHRIMP UPDATE FOR OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS 🦐

Unfortunately, as much as the spirit and flesh is willing of our CEO and expert shrimper Chris; nature, the tides and weather has been seriously against him, The Venture and other sh*****ng boats for several days now.

This has sadly led to a dearth of traditional fresh shrimp for everyone.

Chris is monitoring tides and weather and he is hoping when the change comes in, he’ll be able to launch. At the moment it is looking as though super fresh in the rough and picked shrimp will not be available until next week. We will update our page as and when we have news.

Thank you for bearing with us. We always aim to keep our promise to you of only supplying our own shrimp where their freshness can be endorsed and guaranteed for you.

Good morning and Happy Fish Friday from C M Triggs Fishmongers 🐟🐟🐟

Our Recipe of the Week is the delicious Pan Seared Halibut with Lemon Caper Sauce. This tender, moist, and flaky dish that is full of flavour, takes less than thirty minutes to cook.
Perfect served with sautéed green beans and baby new potatoes, and because it’s Friday, what better than a nice crisp, chilled glass of Chardonnay (hopefully you’ll still have some left from the cooking process 😉)

Tim has some beautiful halibut loins delivered fresh and prepped ready for you, along with our usual super fresh ice counter produce.
