Earlier part of their journey back to the cattle buildings. Spring calves looking well on dams milk and grassland, no creep. Plenty of young bull calves to rear on, to become stock bulls next year.

Time to bring in the cows and calves and take out the bulls. It's a long afternoon walk back to the farm yard.

Checking in this morning with the ladies that were moved onto 100 Acres yesterday. Grazing a rich herbal lay, with their calves at foot. No creep on Protected Landscapes.

Moving one of our bulling groups, running with Stanfordpark Tiberius, into our 100 acres field. Last week it was combined for it's wild flower seeds, which will be sold on by Bright Seeds. With their No Fence collars on they will graze the far end of 100 acres and slowly move across, depending on weather conditions, rain and grass re growth.

Stanfordpark CPC Tessa V1219, sired Crooked Post Compass, dam Knockenjig Tessa 2nd. Doing exactly what we'd hoped for when we imported the Crooked Post Compass semen, easy keeping on an extensive grazing system and without rain for 8 weeks, running out with bull for Spring calving. Looking well fleshed and healthy during tough times. Wearing No Fence collar.
