Walrus Fisheries is a small family-run business based in Ilfracombe harbour supplying north Devon lobster and crab to wholesale, retail, seafood restaurants and private customers. We source top quality lobster and crab from boats that make up the small fishing fleet within the harbour and who use traditional potting methods to catch along the North Devon coastline as far as Lundy Island. ide premises allow us to transfer each day's catches directly from the boats to our seawater holding tanks within minutes. No transportation or prolonged time out of water means that our lobsters remain in the best condition possible. Lobsters are then sorted, graded and then supplied to our customers in prime condition.
