Established in 1928 Bannerman’s started trading in the surrounding areas of Arbuthnott as Bannerman’s Economic Stores, then moving to the fishing village of Gourdon trading as Bannerman’s Market before opening G Bannerman Butcher in Inverbervie. From humble beginnings we have fed the Aberdeenshire and Mearns community from the lean 1920s to the more recent meatier decades and are back with a 21st

century make over! Trained by local butchering legend Gerald Bannerman (Jnr), his grandson Chris is a fourth generation butcher ready to put his own stamp on the Bannerman legacy with his own butchering styles and flavour sensations. We welcome you to our meaty world with open arms and ears ready for your own suggestions and requests.
