This Friday, 26th June, Kendal Farmers Market returns to Market Place from 9am–3pm with 34 fantastic local traders.

Stock up on picnic goodies, barbecue treats, artisan cheeses, sourdough bread, local meats, fresh eggs, honey, cakes, chocolates, smoked fish, beer, wine and gin. Grab an iced coffee, a hot roast sandwich or a pie and enjoy a wander around the market while the sunshine lasts.

Let's be honest, standing in a supermarket queue isn't anyone's idea of enjoying the best weather of the year.

Support local, shop local and make the most of summer.

Well done Dan’s Plants 🌱

Our garage was looking beautiful after we took delivery of these lovely flowers!

They've now been installed in planters around Kendal, as well as in the hanging baskets around the town centre and birdcage, adding some summer colour to our streets.

Thank you to local suppliers for the plants, including Cath's Garden Plants who assisted in planting up. Thanks also to Horticare and Dan's Plants, and to Tony Wood for helping with installation, and Shelagh Todd for the vision.

We hope everyone enjoys the flowers as much as we do! 🌺💐🌼

We are in Cumbria Life, we are so thrilled to have won the Countryside Alliance Award for the North of England Local Food and Drink Champion, but next we will be at the be at the national finals at the House of Lords, representing the North. Fingers crossed!

Next Kendal Farmers Market is on Friday 26th June, 9am–3pm in the Market Place.

We have the very best local food and drink from our brilliant farmers, bakers, brewers and makers. Fresh bread, local meat, eggs, cakes, cheese, pies, jams, honey, plants, coffee… basically all the good stuff.

Shop local. Eat well.
