Meatopia UK… what can we even say?!

You were an absolute dream come true.

The feedback we received throughout the weekend was nothing short of phenomenal. We arrived with a LOT of biltong and came home with literally a couple of sticks after you meat-loving lot nearly cleared us out. 🤯

Watching so many people try our biltong for the first time and seeing the reactions was something else. So many WOWs. So many OMGs. And one bloke even came over because people elsewhere at Meatopia had told him it was the best thing they’d eaten all day and that he HAD to come and find us. We’ll take that. 😂

We’ve been working on and perfecting this recipe for 24 years. To stand at Meatopia, surrounded by some of the best people in the food and meat world, and watch thousands of you enjoy something we’ve spent so long creating was pretty bloody special.

A massive thank you to everyone who came over, tried it, bought it, told their mates about it or came back for more, more than once 👀

And a special shoutout to our Meatopia neighbours, friends and after party buddies Angus & Oink. Couldn’t have asked for better people to share the weekend with. ❤️

There is SO much going on behind the scenes at Uncle Beef!

Not only are we at Meatopia UK this weekend. But we’re undertaking a huge renovation project. Moving out existing shop into this new unit just around the corner, and embarking on a new project in the current shop once we’re moved out.

We’re big believers in supporting the places on our doorstep, and we LOVE seeing local pubs busy, buzzing and thriving.

So on 11th September, Uncle Beef is taking over the kitchen at The Dart for one seriously meaty night. 🥩🔥
