We are a High Class Multi Award Winning Butchers & Deli, in Business from 1919. We have opened our newly built Food Hall, Steak House & Cocktail Bar to complement our already established Brilliant High Class Butchers. We make everything in our Food Hall using our own Fresh Ingredients. We have won the Best in Ulster Awards for our Granite Aged Dry-Cured bacon and Our French Bread Stuffing. The Dry Cured Bacon recipe has been in our family for generations and we feel is the best bacon you will ever eat. No shrinkage or white stuff in sight, bacon as it should be. Our French Bread Stuffing is made on site everyday. A very simple Recipe but so so tasty. The secret is we use real Butter. We have won All-Ireland Winning titles for our Sausages and Barbeque Products, We dry-age all our Beef the old fashioned way for 28-days. We now have a Himalayan Salt chamber which customers can now see in our food hall. The process of dry aging now happens in front of your eyes. In 2017 our Steak Burger was voted 'Best in Ireland' as well. Our Steak House & Cocktail Bar which seats over 60 people and we have a team of Brilliant Chefs who use all our butchery products on the menu. We feel you will not get a fresher meal or better breakfast anywhere in the country. We have a hot-food counter and deli making delicious products. We have over 200 different dishes which can be bought both hot and cold. We make our own Home-Made Gelato Ice-Cream on site with a vast array of toppings and a delicious Hot Chocolate fountain. We use Milk and Not cream making a lovely light healthier alternative to traditional ice-cream. There is vast display of artisan products on display and we sell fresh vegetables which are delivered fresh everyday from Belfast market. We have a 50 car parking spaces at the side making your trip as convenient as possible.

⚓ A Very Special Day for Kilkeel RNLI ⚓

James Jr and Donna were very honoured to be invited by Kilkeel Lifeboat Station Operations Manager John Fisher, on behalf of James Senior, to attend the official naming ceremony and service of dedication for Kilkeel RNLI’s new Shannon class lifeboat, Bobby Cameron.

It was a very special and proud occasion for Kilkeel and the entire Mourne community.

❤️ The day had an extra special meaning for Donna and her family. As a wee girl, Donna was there for Kilkeel’s last lifeboat naming ceremony back in 1993, as her father, Stephen McDowell, served for many years with Kilkeel Lifeboat. To return all these years later and be part of the naming of the new lifeboat made it a lovely full-circle family moment and brought back many special memories.❤️

Another particularly touching moment came when Bobby’s sister Margaret presented John Fisher with Bobby’s old Sunday School Bible, asking that it be kept on board the lifeboat in memory of her brother. ❤️

We were also very proud to play a small part in such a special day by donating the traybake platters for everyone to enjoy after the ceremony.

Kilkeel is truly blessed to have what we believe is one of the very best lifeboat crews in the whole of the UK. Over the years, these incredible volunteers have answered the call time and time again, saving so many lives at sea and being there when people need them most.

The time, commitment and bravery they give — and that generations of Kilkeel lifeboat volunteers have given before them — can never be taken for granted.

From all of us at Cunningham’s, thank you to John and every member, past and present, of Kilkeel RNLI for everything you do. 💙

We wish Bobby Cameron and all who serve aboard her many years of safe service.

A very proud and memorable day for Kilkeel. ⚓💙
