If folks are not aware - The 7 Parking Spaces in front of the Pennine Inn and Sleddal House are slated to be removed by W&F Council Highways and either Blocked with Bollards or made into a bus bay. Current communicated plan that I am aware of.

Both of these options in my opinion are lazy planning and simply cover up Highways failures to follow their own best practices in road design in the first place. I did check and have the receipts. W&F Highways track record in Kirkby Stephen of late has been poor in my humble opinion and been economically detrimental to the business community specifically.

If you feel the same way as I do, as these proposals directly negatively affect my business being directly adjacent to the parking spaces, please make your voices heard to W&F Highways and copy our elected council reps who should be representing our views. Contracts as follows
