My goodness… we can’t quite believe we’ve already completed the first quarter of 2026 - how are we half way through April already?! The year is absolutely flying by! 🤯

We thought it was about time to give you all a little update on what we’ve been up to over the last few months…

January into February saw us take on another long contract - 24 days of catering for a hardworking crew across both day and night shifts. It rained for a spectacular 21 out of the 28 days we were on site (including set up and de-rig!), but that didn’t stop us cooking up over 1,140 hot meals, alongside running a 24-hour craft station to keep everyone content in between meals. A big shift, but a brilliant one.. despite the brutal Scottish Weather! ☔️🚚

Friday 6th March - We were back with one of our regulars, the brilliant team at Astrak Global in Kirkcaldy, for another day of corporate catering. Always a pleasure returning to this hardworking crew. The sun made a rare appearance too, meaning Nova was back on guard duty for the first time this year, keeping a close eye on things.. and patiently waiting for any dropped snacks 🐶😜.

20th-21st March - Two days of hot boxing in Leith, delivering soups, lunches, dinners and desserts to support another fantastic crew who found themselves without a kitchen for a couple of days! 🥘🧁

28th March - Our first return visit of the year to the Scottish Gliding Centre for their annual awards night. This time we took over their onsite kitchen, Top Bun, serving up Thomson Of Thornton’s steak ovals, mashed potatoes, carrots and their incredible gravy, followed by a much-requested jam sponge & custard.. proper comfort food done right after a hard day of gliding! ✈️

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last few months, we’re so grateful as always. Now… bring on the summer season! ☀️🍔

I had the pleasure of delivering an extra order to megan at the Town House Deli & Bakery what a friendly vibe the shop had, i couldn’t leave without trying a few pastrys and they were 10/10 if you have not been here yet then what are you waiting for 🤤🤤

As we edge towards the end of the year and start looking ahead to what’s next, we thought it was time for a wee round-up of the last six weeks. We might have been a little quieter online, but behind the scenes it’s been full steam ahead with a brilliant mix of events to round off the season! 🎄🎉

We kicked things off with a two-day event at the Scottish Gliding Centre for Round 1 of the UK Junior Gliding Winter Series. Day one saw us serving up creamy chicken pies with mash and veg, finished off with profiteroles. Day two switched things up with spicy chicken burgers, rice salad, corn on the cob, and a very popular Biscoff cheesecake. A fantastic event and a pleasure to cater for such a talented group! ✈️

Next up, we delivered a mix of hot food and savoury picky bits to Cairnsmill Caravan Park for The Motor Caravanners' Club, rounding off their final meet-up of the year. A lovely way for the group to come together and end the season on a high. 🏕️

We were also delighted to return for our third year with the brilliant Falkland Trail Runners, catering for their Christmas party in Kettle. A festive menu, a cracking atmosphere and an absolute credit to the club… always a highlight in our calendar! 🏃🏽‍♀️🎉

⭐️ December then saw one of our biggest behind-the-scenes jobs of the year: 1️⃣7️⃣ days of hot boxing, delivering 3️⃣ meals a day down at Leith Docks for a ferry undergoing a bit of TLC over the winter months. Long days, big numbers and a fantastic crew! 🛳️🥘

Our final job of the season landed on Christmas Eve 🎄 Catering for the lovely Fencepoint crew in Kirkcaldy. After a morning of clay pigeon shooting, crazy golf and air rifles at Clint Activities, the team headed back to base for a well-earned festive lunch before finishing up for the holidays… A brilliant way to sign off the year! 🏌️‍♀️🏹

We’re so grateful for another busy year and can’t wait to welcome both returning customers and new faces already booked in for 2026!!

And as always, a massive shout-out to our amazing butcher, Thomson Of Thornton - absolute legends and a huge part of what we do. (We’ve even got a couple of their steak pies & gravy lined up for the 1st… 👀)

Forever grateful for HMB STREET FOOD they highlighted earlier how we have supported them for the last 6 years, time flies when you have customers you have a great relationship with and it feels like yesterday! Six years ago today, 4th December, we opened our serving hatch for the very first time! 😬 From learning the ropes on a day pitch, to bustling public events, and now catering predominantly for private occasions, it's been an incredible journey! We've loved every single moment, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing support we've had along the way. 🧡

A heartfelt thank you to our friends and family who have been our rock through it all, and to our incredible network of suppliers who have kept us running smoothly throughout the years.

And in more recent years, the wonderful team at Martin Plant Hire, who helped us leave our generator struggles behind.. hiring a nicely maintained geni is definitely much easier than owning one! 😂

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting and working alongside some truly amazing fellow caterers - there are too many of you to name, but we’re proud to be apart of such an incredible community! 🍔

And finally.. to all the fantastic clients who’ve hired our services—our regulars, our new faces, and everyone in between—thank you for trusting a small local business to be part of your events. Your support means the world to us, and we’re forever grateful. 💛
