Gosh what a fabulous week we have had in Brambles Deli. Lots of people returning to enjoy their holidays in Kirkcudbright. Some here for the very first time wondering how on earth they missed this little gem of a town with all it's fabulous shops, cafe's and galleries. Town is exceptionally busy with SpringFling so we are hoping all our fantastic customers who are showcasing their wonderful works of art are busy.
Below are our Deli doggies of the week.
Oscar visited us last year when he was a wee pup, now look how he's grown. Gorgeous boy came back to buy some Deli Doggie Treats and his mummy and daddy got some essential goodies and wine.
Florrie and Snowie are first time Bramblers and promised to come back soon....obv's they got a Deli Doggie Treat for being super good.
On a personal note I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who continue to support my business and for being patient when we are extremely busy.
I am super proud of how John and I poured our hearts and souls into Brambles and which is still amazing people that we stock so many wonderful products.
The Cheese Counter is always a great talking point with visitors because they haven't seen so many different types of cheese (60+ at the last count) before or where they live Cheese Mongers/Delicatessens/Bakers and Butchers simply don't exist anymore. AND they are more than a little jealous that our town is still thriving with some amazing Indies.
Their High Streets have been decimated by Super Markets and online platforms. I just wish people would remember that when they start being a little dismissive and down right rude towards not only me but my ladies Jade and Evie who I am super proud of and who have been my absolute rocks since John passed away.
A little kindness and patience goes a long way.
'Any hoo' as two of my favourite peeps say I'm off out to peg the washing out.
