The dairy was established in 1987 and we have taught a great number of prospective cheese makers during the last 20 years as well as managing our own small commercial dairy business. However, we have recently decided to change direction with our business and now intend to concentrate mainly on running our dairy training courses whilst opening our shop on a limited basis for the sale of ice cream and other dairy products made by students.

Are you serious about learning how to make cheese?
Come and join a small group of potential cheese-makers and learn the skills needed to make a hard cheese. This is a unique opportunity for 'hands on' learning with Kathy Biss who has a lifetime of experience with cheese.

At West Highland Dairy, IV538UW.
May 30th and 31st, 9.30am -3.30pm
The fee for the course is £400.00
Students will need a white coat and spotlessly clean wellies. Hair covering will be provided.
Tea and coffee are provided, bring your own packed lunch.
