We are a small poultry farm in Kirkmuirhill that are looking to supply free range eggs to the local community. We currently have a small flock of female laying hens which all produce on average one egg per day. Our chickens have easy access to fresh food and water 24 hours a day. They are fed a highly palatable feed specially formulated to meet the needs of our flock. It contains optimal leaves of calcium, phosphorus and Vitamins giving you stronger eggs shells and a yellow yoke. Our hens are also provided with fresh lettuce a few times a week. The hens receive on average 11 hours of daylight in the winter months where light is limited and on average 15 hours of daylight in the summer months. Our flock lives in a custom made coop with two windows to let in adequate lighting. They are given a fresh new bed of straw every week to ensure a fresh living environment for our hens ,Giving them the best life possible 🐓
