It's always nice inspecting this colony. Their temperament is lovely. They were short of space so I added a super, although the nectar flow seems to have slowed a lot now. There's always the heather which looks like it's flowering early this year. If some rain comes there could be a crop.

It's been a tough winter for the bees, lots of losses with the wet weather. This colony had come through strong so I split them today, hopefully there will be a few new laying queens in a few weeks 🤞
