Well I must admit we were a tad worried that today’s market would be a washout, but…the sun shone and over 250 wonderful people visited!

There was a great atmosphere and we had regular, returning and some new stalls. We also had a very special guest who hopped by with some chocolate eggs (thank you Axxa Celebrations!). Special mention also to Sophie's Charity Bakes who makes amazing cakes and donates the proceeds!
An extra thank you also to Martin’s printing who’s made us 2 very snazzy flags!

We love you all and can’t wait to see everyone at the next market on 26th April. Lisa and Libbi ###

We had a great time at today’s market. An aray of wonderful stalls, over 300 visitors plus a couple of very special guests. We have raised over £900 today for Little Beam Foundation, bringing our running total to £7200!!
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Andrea (and co.) at the village hall for being so supportive & accommodating, our superstar helpers - Sophie, Noah, Trish & Sarah for all your hard work, and of course everyone who visits the markets.
Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in 2026

✨🎄THIS SUNDAY 10-2 at Kirby Muxloe Village Hall🎅🏼✨
We’re working super hard to ensure that the Christmas Community Market is the best yet. We are totally overwhelmed by the generosity of people who have donated amazing gifts for Santa’s grotto which is only £4 and all goes to Little Beam Foundation.
Also, our wonderful stall holders are donating prizes so the raffletickets are well worth £1!

The beautiful and awesome lady that is Libbi has a birthday today!
Libbi is the organiser, promoter and brains behind the community markets. She works so incredibly hard to make the markets the best they can be from sorting out the stalls to advertising to the world. (I do try not to screw my face up when she says “I’ve had an idea!!”) What people don’t see is how busy Libbi is in life. She’s a wonderful foster carer constantly juggling all the things that that brings as well as all her work for PieSki. She amazes me how she is so much to so many people and I’m proud to call her my friend. Happy Birthday Libbi Wood! Have the best day! Lisa xx 🎂🥳🍻

Santa will be at the market on December 14th. He makes sure that his grotto is as eco friendly & inclusive as possible so all gifts are donated and not wrapped. It is only £4 to see Santa and choose a gift from his grotto. 100% of that money goes directly to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

🎅🏼🎄We are looking for donations of new,or as good as new, books, toys, games, craft packs, perfumes etc. Santa gets visitors of all ages from tiny babies upwards. 🧸🪁🪀🚂🪇

A fabulous market today! Thank you everyone who came along. A few new stalls and many of our trusty regulars, plus 189 visitors. The markets have such a lovely vibe and we are so grateful for that. It’s hard work trying to make sure that it runs smoothly and is as successful as possible but so worth it. We have raised another £502 for Little Beam Foundation taking our running total to £6300 which all goes towards supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents.

We were so happy to have the amazing Juno at today’s market. She had her hair cut on stage and is donating it to The Little Princess Trust so that a child or young person who has lost theirs through cancer treatment or other conditions can receive a wig. She has almost raised enough to fund a wig too. If you are able to donate any amount, please use the link in the comments. Well done Juno. You are a superstar and your new hair do looks beautiful 💇🏻‍♀️💜🌟
