Manchego is a firm, distinct Spanish cheese made exclusively from the milk of the Manchega sheep in the La Mancha region. Protected by a strict PDO status, it features a characteristic zigzag rind and ranges from a mild, creamy texture to a sharp, crumbly, and nutty profile depending on its aging time.

From Don Quixote’s Spain comes this classic Ewe’s milk cheese, dry, salty and nutty. Our manchego is matured for 8 – 12 months which we feel is the optimum maturation time for this cheese – any less and it lacks flavour, too much more and it becomes too strong for most palates. Try eating Manchego with a thin slice of membrillo (quince paste) – the perfect tapas! And don’t forget to accompany the cheese with a glass of dry pale rose 🍷❤️🧀

Fantastic turnout for Richmond Food Festival!! Plenty of people roaming about, plenty of stalls…such a good vibe for a Sunday afternoon!! We are thankful to have been part of it and have seen so many familiar faces and new faces as well. 😊❤️🧀
