Good morning from the Smith & Ellis Meat & Weather Centre!

Today’s forecast starts with a light drizzle of gravy across the county, although any early mist should soon burn off, leaving a pleasant haze of barbecue smoke drifting in.

By lunchtime, temperatures will rise to a comfortable 18 sausages, with only a slight chance of scattered pork scratching showers. Visibility will remain excellent unless Trevor the Sausage starts another panic, in which case expect localised chaos.

Winds will be light, coming in from the south sirloin at around 12 chops per hour, freshening later to a brisk gale of gammon. Secure any loose burgers and keep an eye on unattended bacon.

This afternoon, expect sunny spells interrupted by the odd meatball storm, particularly around the pie cabinet. There’s a small possibility of hail made entirely of cocktail sausages, but forecasters say it’s nothing to lose your bangers over.
