The wait is over. Amie wines are now available to buy from The Cheese Society!
As you can probably tell we are extremely excited to be offering wines we have loved since they started back in 2020.
We have the “amie original rosé” A beautifully balanced, pale and dry rosé, made from 85% Grenache and 15% Cinsault, amie original rosé is fresh and vibrant, with a hint of strawberry.
The “amie white, sauvignon blanc” A light and refreshing white wine, produced in the Côtes
de Gascogne. Clean and aromatic with green and tropical fruit flavours, and mouth-watering
acidity.
We also have the “amie red, carignan” A well-rounded,
‘easy-drinking’ red, produced in the
south of France. Made from 100% Carignan – with vines that are over 40-years-old, giving it more concentrated fruit flavours – the wine is soft and approachable with blackberry and plum fruit notes.
We also have the “amie crémant” and non alcoholic Rosé we just haven’t photographed it yet.
About amie:
“All amie wines are produced in the south of France. We’re advocates for wine-growing
methods that preserve the landscape and the overall ecosystem. From the mountains of the
Massif Gentral and the Pyrenees to the impressive canyon “Gorges de l’Hérault”, where
streams travel over 148km to reach the sea, the combination of soils and climatic conditions
ensure we are making our wines from magnificent terroirs.
Available in the shop now, perfect the long hot weekend!
