☀️ H E A T W A V E U P D A T E ☀️

Due to the extreme temperatures expected tomorrow (Thursday), we’ve made the decision to not open the shop and will only be operating Friday and Saturday this week.

With temperatures reaching highs of 35°C it will be expected to reach above 40°C in our polytunnel and that is simply too high to work safely or comfortably.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued understanding and patience. We will look forward to seeing you all on Friday & Saturday instead 🤍

Another week of planting, netting and watering 🌱💦⛅️

This dry, hot weather means newly planted crops need a bit of extra care - with no rainfall in the forecast, we have to irrigate to help the young plants establish strong roots and keep them growing.

Fresh, seasonal and full of colour 🌈

We’ve got a lovely selection of fresh seasonal fruit and veg in the shop, along with all the usual favourites, so if you’re planning to stock up we’d love to see you.

Because of the heat, we may decide to shut a little earlier than normal this afternoon if it gets too much, so if you’re thinking of popping over, it’s best to come sooner rather than later.

☀️ T H I S W E E K ☀️

As you all know our farm shop is based in a polytunnel which can get pretty hot, especially during these high temperatures! We will be doing our best to keep things fresh which will probably mean the shelves might look low on stock to keep the remaining in the shade. We are aiming to keep open as normal but if it gets extremely uncomfortable, we might end up closing a little early around 2pm.

Feeling grateful for the people in my life, the lessons that have shaped me, the challenges that have made me stronger and all the memories made along the way. Whilst carrying some sadness of missing a certain person who I wish was here to see it 🤍
