✨ ANNOUNCEMENT ✨ It’s LJC’s 13th Birthday this week and it’s sadly time for me to take a long pause and temporarily close the business.

It’s been a really hard decision but after 13 wonderful years of everything Jam, Marmalade, Curd, Chutney and Sauce it’s time to take a pause and invest in some personal growth elsewhere.

Thank you to everyone who I have met on this journey, customers, stockists, suppliers, fellow small biz owners and my family and friends who have helped me run this cottage industry through all of the ups and downs of the last 13 years.

I hope to be back one day, but in the meantime and keep supporting locally made small business whenever you can.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited us at ✨ wow it was a busy day from sunrise to sunset.

Special thanks goes to Rev Rach and Mossley Hill Church and volunteers, my family and friends, especially who was a superb shopkeeper for the day, for their support and all of the for helping me to pack up at the end 🙏

This is a very special event, all of the Makers are carefully selected to provide a wonderful shopping experience, cosy warm and dry inside a beautiful building.

There will be live music from and starting at 12pm. Its a great place to meet with friends and grab lunch, have a rest, and shop some more 😊

Harvest time 🌱 🍎 🍐 so many locally grown fruits have been ripening around us. Very grateful to a friend who brings me buckets like this every year, fresh from Rainhill 😊 some amazing yields on plums, pears and apples this year.

Thinking of the Farmers who’s crops have been so thirsty 😔

These apples feature in so many of my Jams and Chutneys providing natural pectin and texture.
