It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear Russ.
From the very beginning of Barnetts back in 2004, Russ was one of the hearts behind our little shop. So many of you will remember his kindness, gentle nature, great sense of humour and calming presence. He touched the lives of so many people in our community and will be remembered with so much love.
We take comfort in believing that love never truly leaves us… it simply changes form. 🤍
For those who have asked about paying their respects, Russ’s Funeral, A Service of Gratitude will take place at Thornton Crematorium at 12pm on Monday 10th August, and everyone is warmly invited to wear bright colours in celebration of his life.
There will also be a Buddhist Powa Ceremony at 12pm on Sunday 9th August at the Liverpool Kadampa Meditation Centre, Sefton Park.
Thank you for holding Janet, Russ and their family in your hearts. Your love, kindness and support have brought so much comfort and are appreciated more than words can say. 💛🌻
