There’s an afternoon of live music being put on by Cronton Community Centre volunteers on Sunday afternoon, please take a look or join their fb page for more info……

Not long now until out Spring Music event (Sunday 24th May), and we wanted to introduce our acts. Firstly we have Gerry & The Hat Tricks (a little play on ‘Geriatrics’ 😂)

Gerry and the Hat Tricks were 'born' around 2015 when long-time accomplished guitarist/keyboard player Pete (Liverpool Express/Merseybeats) approached bass player Ron (they'd been friends and sometimes musical partners since their teens). Enter John, a drummer and more latterly, Brian (keys) and they have all gelled, both as musicians and friends.

They add their own sound to invoke memories of the past with a brilliant range of well known songs. The band has been touched by the challenges that cancer brings, and now support cancer charties and hospices such as Halton Haven.

We are lucky enough to have them open the show for us this Sunday. If you haven't got your tickets yet please come along - you'll be supporting the continued running of the Community Centre and will have a great local afternoon out!!

Well done guys 🤗

We have done the maths and paid the bills for the 12 Days of Christmas and we have raised a staggering £60,000 to go into the fund! Our new total is now just under £220,000!

Over the run, we sold:
7,300 tickets 🎟️
1,500 buckets of popcorn 🍿
2,000 interval ice creams 🍦

Thank you for all of your support so far and here's to smashing the fundraising target and bringing the Picture House into community ownership in 2026!
