Some of the staff here at The Riverside Filling Station have been watching our calorie intake recently. While we love our Hellmans Real Mayonnaise it packs a hefty calorie punch so we've been experimenting with our homemade coleslaw and come up with 3 new options to try.

Firstly we've created a lighter slaw, made with half greek yoghurt, reducing the calories in the coleslaw by about half. You can try that this week in our

Secondly we've replaced Hellmans Real Mayonnaise with their egg free version in our tuna baguettes, wraps and salads, this cuts the calories there by about a third.

Finally our and new come with a completely mayonnaise free asian slaw made with kimchi. This cuts the calories in the coleslaw by a quite unbelievable 5000% !!!

What a fantastic Mid-Argyll Show at the weekend. Not to brag, but our very own Roy de Banzie and his pup did amazing. Here they are celebrating with Greig Macleod at the MacLeod Construction Limited stand.

They scooped 3rd place Terrier, 2nd place Dog and Handler Most Alike (think it's the eyebrows), 3rd place Waggiest Tail and 3rd place Oldest Dog and Handler Combined Age (sixty-eight and a half plus... a half)
