Open letter to my sweet girl on the moon

My sweet Mavi-Mae

I hope you can see how much joy you bought us in your short time here on earth. The strength, determination and resilience you showed in those 8 days with your extra long fingers and size 10 feet 😂 you definitely take after your dad with those . You were so tiny but so perfect you looked exactly like your big sister!

Mavi you have inspired me to be the greatest version of my self,every week for the last 2 years I have laced up my running shoes and pounded the pavements all in your name to tell the world about our special girl on the moon.

Oh and I found the perfect charity to help spread awareness they are called and are fighting to help babies just like you.

This year is one of the toughest but it will be one of my greatest achievements, I get to take part in the London marathon in your name. Can you believe This will be my second time running the London course and 3rd if we count that hard virtual last year😩

I often get asked why I always say we when talking about what I’m doing and that’s because I honestly couldn’t do any of this without you, you have paved this journey for me and honestly don’t know where my grief would have taken me without a purpose

So thank you my sweet girl mavi-mae for being my biggest cheerleader 📣

They say the greatest gifts are given from above and you have sent us your little sister because you knew mummy and daddy need a little joy back❤️

I have to go now, the pavements are calling. But Mavi- I’m still swimming

There are some space left on my run your own marathon.

We start on the 1st March

Wether it take you a day, week or the whole month it doesn’t matter getting outside and moving does.

You can run,walk, cycle or swim or even use a treadmill, peloton or rowing machine this is inclusive for everyone to take part.

All proceeds go toward my London marathon target xx

football season is back and so is Mavi-Mae’s Army football cards raising money for Tommy's charity to make a difference.

Here’s how it works

There are two cards :

Card 1 £2.00 per team winner will receive £80 and £80 will be donated too our charity.

Card 2 £5.00 per team winner will receive £200 and £200 will be donated too our charity.

Cash / Bank Transfer winner will be announced once all teams are taken.

It’s been a while but we have been super busy as race season has started again!!

On the 1st of September Charlotte completed the big half and straighter after Mavi-Maes mum,brother, sister and her cousin did the big mile

On Sunday the 22nd Charlotte will take part in the vitality 10,000.

And on the 13th of October Mavi-maes dad, grandad and Charlotte will take part in the royal parks half.

Here is a little information on where all your donation go towards

🩷 £50 could help pay for a week’s supply of materials for Tommy’s researchers

🩷 £100 could fund specialist blood tests for a day in our Vitamin D clinical trial investigating whether supplements could reduce miscarriage risk

🩷 £500 could fund a year’s supply of materials for Tommy's research into how parts of the placenta functioned in pregnancies that experience loss

🩷 £1000 could fund a month’s supply of lab equipment for a Tommy’s research project investigating positive impacts on pregnancy outcomes in over 40s

🩷 £5,000 could fund a researcher for 3 months to explore new ways to treat blood pressure problems in pre-eclampsia, and help prevent them from happening

🩷 £11,000 could keep the Tommy’s Midwives helpline service open for a month

🩷 £1.5 million could fund 3 Tommy’s research centres across the UK for 1 year, each of which operate specialist clinical services to help women with the highest risk pregnancies

I really appreciate any donation small or big we at so close to £14,000
