You know it’s going to be a good day when you find a four-leaf clover.🍀

We had another brilliant day recently visiting Yorkshire farms with some of our customers from who were able to see first‑hand how regenerative beef farming can be practical, scalable and future‑ready.

Throughout the day we explored how sustainable and intelligent, data‑led systems can deliver better outcomes for the land, the animals and the food our customers serve. Whilst sustainability is absolutely key, we also know our customers love the improved marbling distribution, greater tenderness and consistent flavour profile that our beef products bring. These farms tick every box and we love to showcase this through our customer visits.

Sutton Hoo isn’t just another free-range chicken. Founded in 1994 with a mission to bring back real flavour the Nash family have built a farming model rooted in patience, welfare and craftsmanship. Their slow-grown Hubbard birds mature over ten weeks which is 25% longer than standard systems. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the to Yorkshire for a truly inspiring day visiting some of the farms we are proud to work with. The day offered a closer look at IMS’s fantastic partnership with The Stabiliser Cattle Company, with chefs gaining real insight into regenerative farming and the care, commitment and long‑term thinking behind it.
Regenerative agriculture is something the IMS team is incredibly passionate about, and this visit marked just the beginning. There’s plenty more to share about this partnership in the coming months and we’re already looking forward to welcoming more chefs onto one of our farm tours very soon.

Last week, we attended the first ever .london Live Innovation Forum. This was themed around World Earth Week with a strong CSR and sustainability focus. The forum brought together over 200 attendees, including executive chefs, general managers, .London head office teams, directors, clients and consultants.

During the session, we showcased a number of collaborative concepts developed through our partnership with Alex Rowe, who is culinary director at Vacherin. We focused on reducing food-related emissions while maintaining flavour, quality and consistency for chefs.

We love events like this as it allows us to collaborate with chefs, suppliers and producers to create practical, lower-impact menu solutions. It’s always great to watch as our customers discover how plant-forward hybrid products can play an important role in the future of sustainable catering.
