The Scottish Kitchen

The Scottish Kitchen Amazing food and produce from the Highlands of Scotland. We thought London should be able to enjoy food this pure, so we set up The Scottish Kitchen.

After seven years of owning and running a hotel and restaurant in the Scottish Highlands, we came away with a lot of love for and knowledge and experience of Scottish produce. We believe it's some of the best in the world, coming from low intensity farming in the cleanest air in Europe. We source from suppliers we know, and can attest to the superb quality of the beef from Speyside farms slaughter

ed in Grantown on Spey, the venison sustainably farmed in Sutherland, and the haggis, lorne sausage and white pudding is made by butchers local to the area. Loch Duart hot smoked salmon is the best we've ever tasted, and comes from their Summer Isles smokehouse on the west coast. The soft fruits are from either Alvie Estate or Wester Hardmiur Farm, and they carry tons more flavour than supermarket fruit. The venison charcutrie is from Great Glen Foods, the black pudding from Stornoway (where else?)
We make the Ecclefechan tart, tablet butteries and Scotch pies ourselves. We also serve hot food: Haggis and bacon rolls, steak sandwiches, lorne toasties, and hot smoked salmon salads

Our range is always expanding and changing as we find more and more yummy things. Come and find us at one of our pitches!
