Capo Caccia Fine Food Capo Caccia Fine Food specialises in organic pecorino cheese, goat and cow's milk cheese, gluten and

Capo Caccia was started in 2012 to bring founder (and native Sardinian) Antonio's love of traditional Sardinian food to his adopted home of London. We’re passionate about the amazing food that comes from Sardinia and it’s a pleasure to be able to share our passion with you and work with small, artisan producers to bring a taste of Sardinia to London. We regularly travel throughout Sardinia meeting

cheese producers, butchers and farmers and sourcing the finest regional staples to bring a unique range of products back to London. We sell the highest quality Pecorino cheese, Ricotta Mustia (a smoked dried Ricotta) alongside Pane Carasau, a traditional Sardinian flatbread, and many more unique cheeses. We also sell our popular range of gluten and lactose-free salami seasoned with fennel, myrtle leaves and sun dried chilli and marinated in red and white wine. Another hit with meat lovers is Mustela a traditional southern Sardinia cured pork loin, and Bottarga, a wonderful fish roe known as Sardinian caviar that can be added to pasta or shaved directly on to vegetables as a starter. Another tasty delight is Malloredus gnocchi, tiny dumplings with an elongated, elegant conch shape and Fregola, semolina dough that has been rolled into fine balls and toasted in an oven. Capo Caccia's online shop is the well stocked with all products available for home delivery. In person, you’ll find us across London at the finest food markets and you can also find our charcuterie and cheese at restaurants and food shops in the city.

Today we spoke to Alberto about the wild flower season in Sardinia and the honey flavours he's preparing for us....

Alberto  is one of our best producers. He is dedicated to honey and the well-being of bees for over 25 years!

Although he has never applied for certification, he has always practiced organic beekeeping, in which essential oils are preferred to treatments against bee diseases, and in which no harmful products or products that could interfere with the properties of honey are used.

The hives are in uncontaminated areas of Mediterranean scrub, and this helps to maintain the quality of the honey, as the certificates and analyzes confirm.

He has received numerous awards and honors in prestigious events: in 2020, for the seventh consecutive year, he was awarded by the National Honey Observatory.
Alberto's eucalyptus honey has been nominated best Italian honey in 2022 at the 𝟰𝟮 𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙤 𝙏𝙧𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙚 𝙙’𝙊𝙧𝙤 – 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙈𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙞 𝙙’𝙄𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙖

We can easily say that Alberto is one of the best Italian honey's producers and his products have unique properties and layers of flavours. A wise man in touch with nature with a huge experience and a great life story!

Get in contact if you'd like to know more about our honey selection, what flavours are available and which ones we are receiving from Sardinia.

💥Salame di coscia💥

This is a Brianza-style salami with a genuine, sweet, and smooth flavour that makes this salami highly digestible.

It's made with fresh thigh premium-quality meat used to make prosciutto crudo. These cuts are used because, in addition to being free of connective tissue and nerves, they contain the least water, allowing the salami to dry better and maintaining remarkable organoleptic qualities. The fat content does not exceed 15%

From our producer of organic pecorino cheese, in the beautiful Sardinia, is this new pecorino with black truffle.

It's made with real fresh truffle, which is added during the cheese making process, and raw, unpasteurised sheep's milk.

It is a very well balanced cheese with a delicate truffle flavour that works really well with the richness of the sheep's milk to produce a great intense cheese with a gentle spiciness and sharpness.

Aged for at least 60 days.

What more can you ask for!

Saffron harvest in Sardinia!
The Sardinian Saffron is a small, delicate flower that blooms in November. Hand picked and organically grown it is slowly dried at low temperatures to maintain its fragrance over time.
We received a new batch of Saffron and other herbs and spices from Sardinia with a brand new wild fennel fronds, the myrtle berries in 100g bags and the herb sea salt with Sardinian spices, including myrtle, coriander, wild fennel, oregano, bay leaf.

Visit our online shop to see the full range. Link in bio.

Our herbs and spices contain no preservatives or colorants and they are the perfect ingredients to flavour meats, for seasoning fish, stew and salads. They are used in pasta, risotto and roasted chicken. The Myrtle berries are also used for making the traditional myrtle liqueur "Mirto".

All the products are available wholesale & retail.

We're still buzzing after two lovely days in Stroud. Wednesday was the Sardinian Festa, a collaboration between and , where the brilliant chefs , and their team created a Sardinian menu with our ingredients. The menu blended traditional dishes, like the fregola tostata, maialetto arrosto and seadas with the brilliant Juliet touch.

On Thursday we had a stroll around the beautiful Slad and went to somewhere we'd been wanting to visit for ages - part of the Juliet family. cooked us amazing food from the mussels in cider to the cooked to perfection onglet! Thanks so much! And thanks to .chadwick all the Juliet staff and the lovely people we met for a fab visit and event. Back for more food, art and nature very soon!
