🍅 The Tomato Stall at Brook Green Market 🍅

Not all tomatoes are created equal.

The Tomato Stall have spent years dedicated to growing and championing one thing: truly exceptional tomatoes. Based on the Isle of Wight, they are renowned amongst chefs and food lovers for producing tomatoes with remarkable flavour, sweetness and depth.

Rather than focusing on yield and shelf life, they focus on taste. They grow an incredible range of varieties, from vibrant cherry tomatoes bursting with natural sweetness to large heritage varieties packed with rich, complex flavour. Many of the tomatoes they grow are varieties you’ll rarely find in supermarkets.

Their tomatoes are grown using innovative and sustainable methods, harnessing natural sunlight and carefully controlled growing conditions to produce fruit at its absolute best. The result is tomatoes that taste the way tomatoes should taste.

If you’re looking for inspiration, try this simple Summer Tomato Pasta:

🍅 Roast a tray of mixed tomatoes with garlic, olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.
🍝 Toss through fresh pasta from Spacca or your favourite pasta.
🌿 Finish with fresh basil and a generous grating of Parmesan.

Simple ingredients, incredible flavour.

Whether you’re making sauces, salads, sandwiches, bruschetta or just eating them straight from the punnet, The Tomato Stall’s produce will completely change your expectations of what a tomato can be.

Visit them this Saturday at Brook Green Market and discover why some of London’s best chefs seek out their tomatoes.

🐟 Fresh & Wild Fish are one of the reasons people travel from across West London to visit Brook Green Market.

Quite simply, this is one of the most impressive fish stalls you’ll find anywhere and, in our opinion, better than most fishmongers.

Every Saturday, Fresh & Wild arrive with an extraordinary display of fish and seafood. The variety is staggering, the quality is exceptional and the freshness is difficult to beat. They work tirelessly to ensure the interval between catch and market is as short as possible, which is why so many customers make them part of their weekly routine.

Just some of this week’s highlights include:

🐟 Wild English Line-Caught Seabass
🐟 John Dory
🐟 Lemon Sole
🐟 Halibut
🦀 Dressed Cromer Crab
🐟 Cornish Monkfish
🦪 Fresh Oysters
🐟 Swordfish
🐟 Sardines
🍣 Sashimi-Grade Tuna

And that’s just to name a few.

What really sets Fresh & Wild apart is the sheer scale of their range. Alongside their fresh fish, you’ll normally find around 12 different types of smoked fish, shellfish, fish cakes, sashimi-grade fish and an ever-changing selection of seafood that most fishmongers simply don’t carry.

Whether you’re after a piece of fish for dinner, ingredients for a dinner party, seafood for the barbecue or the freshest sashimi-grade tuna around, this is the stall to visit.

Many of their most sought-after products sell out early, particularly the oysters, sashimi-grade fish and premium fillets, so our advice is to get down early.

If you love fish, this stall alone is worth the trip to Brook Green Market.

🥧 Popina are back at Brook Green Market every Saturday 🥧

We’re very happy to say that Popina are now back with us every single Saturday at BGM.

If you know, you know.

Their counter is always packed with dangerously good tarts, quiches, cakes and pastries that somehow manage to feel both comforting and wildly indulgent at the same time.

Golden pastry. Proper fillings. Generous slices. The sort of food that makes you instantly start calculating whether you can justify buying “one for now and one for later” 🍰

Their savoury tarts and quiches are perfect for easy lunches, picnics or lazy dinners, while the sweet side of the table tends to cause complete loss of self-control.

Come early before the favourites disappear.
