This week we remind you of Mont58 Coffee, a small batch roasters based in south east London. Fairtrade organic beans from cooperatives in Guatemala, Peru or Ethiopia.

These delicious beans come by boat and bike courier for extra sustainability points. The down side, coffee “out” might be a disappointment!

We find September brings lots of new customers, so we are resharing our “how to refill” series.

Here we show how to use our outside pump dispensers.
Just weigh your bottle on the outside scales before filling.
It doesn’t have to be empty when you arrive and you don’t have to fill it to the top.
Just speak to staff if you have any questions.

News from our home Hackney City Farm 📣
Winnie the pig is nesting! Soon to be mama is getting ready for the arrival of her piglets. This behaviour suggests she is around a week away from birth.
Where else can you visit animals before, or after, doing your shopping?! We are open 10-16:30 over the weekend.

Frozen chips are being discontinued for now so we can fit in more lollies and ice cream.
So come and grab some while we still have them and help us make space.

We have some more new loose cleaning products from FILL;
🫟de-stainer - low temp oxygen (not bleach) stain remover for mould, mildew, tannins. Machine or hand wash.
🛢️de-greaser - cuts through oil and fat for your pots, pans, oven trays and fryers.
🧽scrub powder - add water to make a cream cleaner for baths, sinks, tiles and more.
🍋‍🟩Citric acid - descale your kettle and toilet plus general bathroom or making your own products.
They can be found just inside the entrance door on the right. As they are powders we can’t keep them outside.
