Day one of our new business will be officially marked on Monday 19 January 2026.

We’re excited to share that this year, through our distribution of food to FareShare, we’ve redistributed 84 tonnes of food, which has helped 1,774 charities and prevented 499 tonnes of CO2e from being wasted.

Additionally, we’ve worked with Tesco to deliver 223 tonnes of food to the Coronation Food Project, which has helped 3,602 charities, and supported 414,000 people!

Huge thank you to our partners and teams who make these incredible milestones possible.

Matthew’s brilliant journey from graduate to Operational Excellence Manager shows how we support career growth at .

Here’s what Matthew told us:

"I joined Bakkavor as a Manufacturing Graduate in Newark, then moved to London where I helped drive continuous improvement initiatives. After completing the scheme, I progressed from Section Leader to Section Manager, and then to Operational Excellence Manager. Now, I help drive strategy across all our London sites.
What I love most is that no two days are the same!"

As part of National Graduate Week, we’re celebrating Luke, who started with as a graduate and has since progressed to become one of our Senior HR Business Partners.

“My journey began in 2018 as a graduate straight out of university. Within six months, I was helping shape our systems and ways of working in the services team. Since then, I’ve grown my leadership skills through resilience and development training and completed my graduate scheme as a Junior HR Business Partner at our London sites.

Just four years later, I’m now a Senior HRBP at our brilliant Harrow site — home to Bakkavor's phenomenal pizzas — and I’m still learning and growing every day.”
