I’m writing this while you’re somewhere above the clouds, on your way to your very first holiday in Italy with the man who has stood beside you through every single step of this journey.
I’m posting this now because I know you won’t see it until you land. And honestly, I wanted you to arrive in Italy and be reminded of just how incredible you truly are.
Back in 2024, your life changed forever.
You were diagnosed with Stage IV follicular lymphoma.
Since then, you have faced chemotherapy, countless hospital appointments, endless blood tests, uncertainty, fear, setbacks, and moments that would have broken many people.
When you thought the battle was behind you, the cancer came back.
The relapse affected lymph nodes throughout your body. Once again, you found yourself facing the unknown. Once again, you chose to fight.
Then came one of the biggest battles of all.
Around 18 months ago, you became one of only around seventy patients to receive a groundbreaking CAR-T immunotherapy treatment. A treatment that wasn't just another step in your cancer journey — it was the treatment that gave you your future back.
You spent weeks in hospital. You put your faith in science, in your medical team, in your loved ones, and most importantly, in yourself.
There were days when your blood results were frightening. Days when your body was exhausted. Days when your hair was gone. Days when nobody knew exactly what tomorrow would bring.
But you never stopped fighting.
And today?
Look at you.
Strong. Beautiful. Radiant. ALIVE!
Today, people meet you at Body Hero and have absolutely no idea what you have overcome. They see your smile, your kindness, your energy and your strength.
