For thirty years Odysea has specialised in bringing a touch of the real Greece to the UK, with hand selected traditionally cured Greek olives, premium Greek extra virgin olive oils, feta and traditional Greek cheeses, Greek meze, speciality products and more recently we have increased our organic Greek products selection. We have tailored our award winning product range to meet the needs of both t

he retail and trade customer. Our aim is to be the first point of reference for Greek products and we take pride in supplying products of the highest quality. We have searched Greece for the finest producers, many of whom we have been working with since we first began in 1991. This enables us to guarantee a degree of quality and authenticity that mass production and scouring may fail to match. In this time we have established strong working relationships and personal friendships with these producers, allowing us to respond quickly and effectively to our customers' product requirements. All the products in our Odysea, Karyatis, Rovies and catering range are free from artificial colours and flavour enhancers and the vast majority of products are free from preservatives. In addition most of our products are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

A proud moment for us 💙 Our award-winning Real Greek Yoghurt is now available in Sainsbury’s yoghurt aisles nationwide🐄

This launch is extra special because it’s the first of our Greek yoghurts to land in Sainsbury’s, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

The judges at the Great Taste Awards agree, here’s their tasting notes:

“This bright white and glossy yoghurt has a delightfully smooth mouthfeel and a rich, luscious creaminess. The nose is slightly sweet and clean, whilst the flavour is full, rounded and creamy.”

We caught up with Executive Chef Tom Cenci at Yasmin’s in Soho to talk all things flavour, creativity, and the ingredients he trusts in the kitchen.

Tsoureki is a Greek brioche-style bread, traditionally enjoyed at Easter but now loved all year round. Golden hour, but make it cake ✨

Bright extra virgin olive oil, golden Clarence Court Burford Buffs, and sweet, zesty oranges come together in this beautifully light, sunshine-filled (and naturally gluten-free) bake. Finished with a generous spoon of cool, creamy Real Greek yoghurt, it’s the kind of cake that feels just right for slow Easter afternoons.

Bright, comforting, and a little bit special - serve with a cup of tea and let it steal the show, find the recipe below 🐣💛

3-4 large oranges
185g caster sugar
4 eggs - we used Burford Buffs
100ml olive oil - we used Early Harvest
200g ground almonds
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Odysea Real Greek yoghurt to serve

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan.

Line a cake tin with baking parchment and sprinkle over 2 tbsp of the sugar.
Peel 2 to 3 of the oranges (reserving the other orange for later) and cut into slices. Arrange in the tin and make sure the base is covered.
Add the rest of the sugar, eggs and olive oil to a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
Add the vanilla extract. Fold through the ground almonds and baking powder until combined.
Grate in the zest of the reserved orange. Pour the batter over the orange slices and bake in the oven for 50-60 mins, or until a skewer comes out clean. Allow to cool then flip the cake so the orange slices are on top. Serve with yoghurt and a drizzle of olive oil.

Not your average burger 😋

Juicy lamb, fresh herbs, a generous dollop of creamy tzatziki and crunchy carrot slaw … this is how we upgrade our burger🍔

Our lamb & tzatziki burger is all about bold, Greek flavours, it’s rich, zesty, and seriously satisfying.

Serve it up, get messy, and don’t forget to add extra tzatziki on the side 😉

Here’s how we made it:

Lamb burgers with tzatziki and carrot slaw
🐑 250g minced lamb
🌿1 tsp oregano
🥄1 tsp fennel seeds
🥄1 tsp cumin
🥄1 tsp ground cinnamon
🧄2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
🌿Handful freshly chopped mint
🥕2 carrots, peeled into ribbons
🍋Juice half a lemon
🍇1 tbsp white wine vinegar
🍔Brioche burger buns
🥒Odysea tzatziki (available )

Combine lamb mince, oregano, fennel seeds, cumin, cinnamon, garlic mint, a glug of olive oil and seasoning in a bowl.
Shape into patties and fry until cooked through.
Meanwhile combine the carrot ribbons, lemon juice, vinegar and salt in a bowl.
Toast the brioche buns.
Assemble your burger - a layer of tzatziki on the bun, carrots, burger, more tzatziki - easy!

Golden, lemony chicken and a generous handful of Greek olives — the traybake that does all the work for you. 🍗🫒
As everything roasts together, the olives release their rich, briny flavour, infusing the chicken with that unmistakable Mediterranean taste. Simple ingredients, one tray, big flavour.

Here’s how we made it:

🍗4 chicken thighs, skin on, bone in
🧅1 onion, sliced
🍋1 lemon, sliced
🌿8 sprigs rosemary
🫒1 Odysea jar Halkidiki olives, drained
🍷100ml dry white wine
🫒Odysea Olive oil

Preheat the oven to 180°
Place lemon and onion slices on a baking tray
Add rosemary
Pour in the wine
drizzle with olive oil
season.
Bake until the chicken skin is golden brown and crisp (about an hour)
