Richard recently made the trip to Franken, Germany, visiting some of the most exciting winemakers of today; 2Naturkinder, Andi Weigand, and Brand Bros — three winemakers doing genuinely inspiring work. 🔴⚪ PARADE DAY — SUNDAY 31 MAY ⚪🔴

North London is going to be BUSY.
The Arsenal victory parade is passing through the area, and we expect things to get lively from late morning onwards.

Here’s how to make the most of it with us:

N1:
🍻 We will be serving The Kernel pints, wines and spritz’ for takeaway ONLY throughout the day!

🥪 Food will be limited, but perfect for if you’re following the parade or on the move

🚫 No sit in available

N16:
🛒 The shop will be open from 9AM, come by and get your supplies!

💺 Sit-in will be very limited

🥪 We will be running a reduced menu for N16 as well, we might not have your favourite small plates available… but there will be something!

🌞 It will be sunny all day, so please remember to stay hydrated and wear sun screen- our uniform is red, not burnt 😅

Don’t sweat it, we’ve got ya! Whether you’re working, relaxing, walking in this heat... when you walk by one of ours shops today we have ice cold water to share with you, unless you fancy a glass of chilled red? We are fully air conditioned!

N16 New In!

Anais Fanti has announced herself as one of the brightest stars among a new wave of talent in Alsace. She has just one and a half hectares of vines, some up to fifty years old, spread across tiny parcels surrounding the village.

Anais grows Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Auxerrois, with a focus on organic and biodynamic farming. She seeks to foster a diversity of life in the vineyards that is sometimes missing in Alsace. Anais’s wines are pure, fragrant, and nourishing.

When London weather betrays you, don’t jump into despair — our N1 reds BTG are the perfect solution. From light fizz to full bodied, soul warming reds, there’s a pour for every mood.

Petillant Rosé (Pineau d’Aunis, Gamay, Pinot Noir) - despite being labelled as a rosé, this firmly drinks like a light red! Bright red fruits and medley herbal notes with just enough spritz, too!

Luz De Las Ánimas (Tintila, Syrah, Palomino) - a true balance between freshness, subtlety and sweetness. A crisp red wine to be enjoyed on any occasion: with tapas or fish, in room temperature or a bit cool.

Casina Bric Serralunga D’Alba, MESDI (100% Nebbiolo) - aromas of rose petals, sweet spices with notes of dark chocolate. On the palate, fresh and fruity with medium tannins and balanced acidity. Perfect for a girls night in on rainy day.
