Women Learn to speak up especially for those who have seen the light and in a working country, do not be silent to these ill practices by these Men!
Read and Learn.⬇️

For nine month i was pregnant, the man i called my husband couldn't even ask me how i am or how is the baby forming in my stomach, all he does is to fight with me keep malice with me for weeks till i will kneel down and beg him
For nine month i was living as if i got pregnant by myself
I will cook, clean take care of my daughter school registration running up and down to meet up with my daughter going and coming back from school
God for hospital appointment after alot of control from doctors and drawing of my blood, i will still go to market to get foodstuff, come home to cook for a man that has been sitting all day in the parlour, he will still be angry carrying face as if i should have done this earlier
After standing for house with big stomach, back and waist pain he will dish his food eat to his satisfaction and go out till evening
I will still prepare my daughter food because some times she hardly eat what we eat, after preparing her food i will go and pick her from school
People will be asking me cant your husband be dropping and picking your child, i will just smile
Fast forward to 3weeks to my delivery, he started fighting even pour the soup in his hand on my body, he will not only insult me, he will insult my dead parent, my elder siblings, rain insult and curses on me, how me and my baby will die.
For almost three weeks to my delivery this man started keeping malice with me
He will be at home i will be vomiting, he will do as if am not a human being, as if i mean nothing ti him which i know i am worthless in his eyes
My eyes will be turning me i will still be taking care of my daughter telling her if anything happens to mama and her brother in the womb she should stay strong
I vomited one morning and this man just hissed and slept off
Only for me to see a message he was telling a lady be want to get her medicine before going to work for her headache because she burst a pimples in her side mouth
And this is man that has never asked me how am i coping with body pain, vomiting sleepless night, trouble with turning on the bed at night
Struggling to wake up by 7 to prepare baby for school
We didn't talk to each other for three weeks
This is a man i told come and arrange the baby bed he refuse, God so kind i had the strength to start arranging the baby carrier, wash everything the baby will need and packed mt hospital things
My CS was to be on Thursday this man that has not been talking to me for three weeks just bashed into the run to create problem, i told him please i have been avoiding you these days so my blood pressure will not rise, before i know he started pouring insult on me how be brought me to aboard, since the day i came to this country i have never rested from tbat words how he brought me abroad and i can't serve him, I'm a bad investment as if he brought me here for business that didn't yield profit for him
Immediately i wanted to go outside to avoid him he blocked the door before i know what is happening two slaps on my face, i said what have a i done to you this evening again, i held his shirt he blow he put on my wrist dislocated my hand, i was forced to call police for him because this is not his first time of beating me since i came to join him
Immediately police came and after interrogation, i stop feeling my baby in the womb, will nine month just waste like that, just two days to delivery is this how it will end for me
The police quickly called ambulance that I can't feel the baby again
They came and took me away that night
My blood pressure was skyrocketing, the baby was breathing but not moving well
So they kept me in the hospital for that two days so they can be controlling me and the baby, the day of my CS
The hand he broke was not too useful to them, they have to concentrate on one hand to draw blood, fix drip and everything
In the theater i fainted they have to put oxygen on me
God so kind i and my baby came out successfully

I heard alot about benin men but since i haven't dated one before i thought this one was different
No he really proved it that there is no exceptional

This is really the case with most Nigerian couples here in the uk especially those Men who normally maltreat their wives in Nigeria. It’s a cultural shock for them knowing that they can no longer hold their wife to financial ransom as they also need to work to earn a living!

12/11/2025

Hmmmm, a lot is going on with most Nigerian Families especially the newly japa ones. Most men maltreat their wife’s and becomes uncomfortable when they can’t do so here. Others hold their wife’s to ransom using Money as a bait but the reverse is the case here as she also needs to work and does earn a living for herself.

My Advice for women- Be wise, know who you are with and how to follow him. Do not hide his evil deeds, call the police and report if you have to. You also have families looking up to you, you deserve to live as well!

I don’t need to think twice about this, my mum gave me the most beating and I had the most of all my siblings😂😂😂

It’s funny how you can’t do the same today to your own kids abroad as you would just be signing them off to the Government🙄🙄

Who gave you the worst beating of your Life?

Motherhood is a universal experience — a blend of love, sacrifice, and responsibility that transcends borders. Yet, the realities of motherhood can look vastly different depending on where one lives.
In Africa, motherhood is often seen as a community affair. The saying “it takes a village to raise a child” still holds strong. Extended families, neighbours, and even friends play vital roles in a child’s upbringing. However, many African mothers face challenges such as limited access to quality healthcare, childcare facilities, and flexible work opportunities. Despite these hurdles, African mothers are celebrated for their resilience, creativity, and deep sense of communal support.
In developed countries, motherhood is shaped by systems and structure. There’s wider access to healthcare, maternity benefits, and educational resources. Technology and modern conveniences make daily tasks easier. Yet, many mothers here experience a different kind of struggle — isolation and pressure for perfection. With less community involvement and more individual responsibility, mothers often juggle demanding careers, childcare costs, and the emotional toll of doing it all “alone.”
Ultimately, whether in Africa or the developed world, the heart of motherhood beats the same — filled with unconditional love, strength, and the constant hope of giving children a better life.

To All mothers giving in their Best, you are Seen and your efforts will not be in vain!
