I've been waiting to show you all this fantastic summer soda recipe and it's the easiest chocolate recipe I will ever shared with you. Its fizzy chocolate soda and definitely not something you can buy ready made in the shops. It's super chocolatey, refreshing and a lovely change from chocolate milk.

Chocolate soda
You will need
1 bottle of soda or sparkling water.
115g Golden caster sugar
65g Cocoa powder
500mls tap water.

Bring to the simmer the tap water, sugar and cocoa powder and time one minute on a low heat once it starts to simmer.

Allow the syrup to cool thoroughly.

Pour some of the chocolate syrup into your soda water and mix gently.

Add more to make it stronger if you want a really intense chocolate soda.

You can flavour the syrup with orange zest, mint leaves or peppermint oil, spices and even a touch of chilli.

Serve over ice in fridge cold glasses.

Add a shot of gin for a Chocolate Gin Fizz.

Love it, share it, enjoy it.

Sea salted caramel bar production day.... 64% Madagascar dark chocolate filled with our award winning sea salted caramel. Love all the ways sea salted caramel can be used with chocolate.

Its sunshine sunny and warm.
Should you store your chocolates in the fridge? It's really warm so these are my golden rules so you can enjoy your chocolates even when it's hot.
1. When you receive your chocolates put them sealed in the salad drawer or bottom of the fridge and keep them there until you want to eat them.
2. When you want to eat them bring them out of the fridge and leave the box sealed for 20 minutes to avoid condensation forming on the chocolate and causing a gritty sugar bloom on the surface. Enjoy your chocolates after 20 minutes.
3. Put them back in the fridge if you fobt eat them all.
4. Freezing chocolate is a no no unless it's a Snickers then I will let you off.
5. Keep well away from direct sunlight.
Go enjoy your chocolate everyone.
