I wanted to share some news with all of my wonderful customers. Firstly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support, loyalty and kindness. It has been a genuine privilege to be part of this village and beyond, and to serve such a fantastic community through Fred & Olive’s Deli. The friendships, conversations, and support I’ve received have meant more to me than words can express.
I will be stepping away from Fred & Olive’s, and I am delighted to announce that the business will be continuing under new ownership and a new name – Darci’s – led by the lovely Darci herself.
Fred & Olive’s Deli will close its doors on Saturday 27th June, after which there will be a short break while Darci prepares for the next exciting chapter. Darci’s will then reopen a couple of weeks later, ready to welcome you all.
For those of you wondering what this means, please don’t worry! The deli counter with many of your favourite products will remain, along with the wonderful fresh bread from our friends at Ten Hands, fresh sandwiches, and a selection of the retail items you’ve come to know and love. Darci will be building on everything you’ve enjoyed while adding her own unique flair, bringing exciting new food offerings, delicious coffee options, and plenty of fresh ideas to the deli.
Thank you again for being such a huge part in this chapter of my life. While it’s time for me to step away, I’m excited to watch Darci’s grow and thrive, and I know you’ll give her the same warmth and support that you’ve always shown me.
