Here at The Butchers, we just believe in supporting the local farmers, and your families health. No preservatives, no keeping things gas flushed. Just real food, where you KNOW what you are eating.

Before there was a misconception that butchers meat is always expensive, especially in a farm shop like ours. But we are making a commitment. We are beating the local supermarkets. They now are actually really NOT offering good value. And whilst yes, we have our premium range (which is the bread and butter for a butchers… people come for their special treat), but we are ALSO going to start offering bulk packs, bargain basement offers and catering stock. We want to make CERTAIN that the whole of long Eaton has the option to eat REAL food. And we are going to go that by beating the supermarkets at their own game.

These will be in DROPS, and we will only be able to sell what we buy. Therefore, every Tuesday and Friday, I am going to be announcing our special offers for the week! And how many we have! So turn on your notifications and let me know if you want to join our WhatsApp broadcast group!

One of the most underrated cuts… and honestly one of the best value 👀

We’ve been saying it for ages — lamb shoulder > everything right now.

Cheap, forgiving, and turns into that slow cooked, fall-apart, restaurant-level dinner with barely any effort. Perfect for a cosy night in, kids running around, glass of wine in hand… real life cooking.

Bit of garlic, rosemary, oil, salt & pepper… leave it in the oven for a few hours and it does all the work for you.

Feeds everyone, tastes unreal, and costs way less than you’d expect for something this good.

If you’re not cooking lamb shoulder yet… you’re missing a trick 🤌
