Tuesday 8th September - 9am - 2pm and then Wednesday - Saturday from 9am - 3pm

Don't forget, if you can't reach our Looe or Tavistock stores, you can order 24/7 on our Online Fishmongers too. Spend £60+ and we offer FREE delivery anywhere in the mainland UK.

Every morning, we start early on the quayside in East Looe to prepare our fishmonger’s counter for the day.

We’ve supported our local fishing fleet since 1946 - buying directly from the boats as they land their catch in Looe.

In addition to hand selected suppliers, for shellfish & seafood not landed in Looe, we’ve always been confident in our claim that you’ll be hard pushed to find fresher and better quality than what we, at Pengelly’s of Looe, provide.

Our Looe Fishmongers opens daily from 9am-5pm

Our Tavistock Fishmongers opens Tuesday from 9am-2pm and Wednesday - Saturday 9am-3pm

Our full range is also available from our Online Fishmongers - and we deliver to all UK mainland asdessss, twice each week.

Browse our online fishmongers & order by 2pm today, Monday 6th, for delivery this Wednesday (or order by 2pm Wednesday for delivery Friday).

Lots of people asking if we open on Sundays....
... well, yes - and we've love to see you!

Fishmongers - the counter is being prepared & ready to open from 9am, and our team are on hand until 5pm.

Sandwich Bar - your favourite subs & sandwiches, hot & cold drinks, to take away area available, & made to order, from 11am, closing 5pm.

Lobster Shack - our alfresco, fully licensed, restaurant on the quayside for classics like crab sandwiches, seared scallops, moules & much more. Open from Noon until 5pm.

A calm morning to be heading to sea.

With a much better forecast for the weekend, the Lobster Shack will be the place to head for lunch from Noon - 5pm on the quayside in East Looe.

If you’re looking for a take away sandwich or sub, our Sandwich Bar is open 11am -5pm.

High Tide Looe will be open from 4pm for dinner - wonder what the catch of the day might be featuring?

….and of course, our Fishmongers in Looe and Tavistock will open at 9am (Looe through to 5pm Tavistock until 3pm).

We never know what will be caught, landed and available for our counter tomorrow…..but we know that our local inshore fleet are at the heart of Looe & all we do, & have been doing for 80 years.
