This Saturday we have Parker's Free From visiting us! We already sell their pies and sausage rolls, which many of our customers love. They will also be bringing quiches, Scotch eggs, and new product, ready mixes! They only sell GF products, so pop over to meet them!

We also specialise in GF in our farm shop.

We're excited to welcome Chef Alex and the LOAF Wagon to The Farmers Butcher from 11:30am this Saturday.

This week, Chef Alex will be serving his delicious grilled sourdough toasties, freshly prepared and served with a dip of your choice. Simple, satisfying food made with quality ingredients and plenty of flavour.

Gluten-free customers 🌿, this one's for you! 🎉

Not only can Chef Alex cater for gluten-free diets, but we'll also be joined by Parkers Free From, bringing a fantastic range of gluten-free🌿 products for you to browse and buy.

Alongside their popular gluten-free pies (which we sell in the farm shop), they'll be bringing quiches, Scotch eggs, new product launches and their gluten-free bake-at-home mixes. It's a great opportunity to discover the wider range from a producer we know many of our customers already love.

🌭 Fun Facts About Our Sausages 🌭
We thought we’d share a few behind-the-scenes facts about the sausages here at The Farmers Butcher… 👀🥩

• We make all our own sausages in-house (normally Dan!) — apart from our Pork Cumberland sausage.

• All of our pork sausages are made using local New Forest pork from Storms Farm, Cadnam 🐖📍

• Sausage making day is Wednesday, so if you pop in on a Tuesday, don’t expect freshly made sausages just yet! 😄

• Our Cumberland sausage is one of our most popular — and the best value too! Buy a tray of 30 for just 60p each 💥

• We make different flavour sausages every week, usually around 5–6 different varieties to choose from.

• One of our best sellers is Bacon Jam sausage… and despite the name, there’s no jam in it — but there IS plenty of chilli! 🌶️🔥

• We always have gluten free sausages available 👍

• Sausages are brilliant on the BBQ! Mike’s top tip: pre-cook them in boiling water for a few minutes before finishing them on the BBQ for perfectly cooked sausages every time 🔥

• We use natural skins on all our sausages.

Think BBQ is just burgers and sausages? 👀

It’s time to level up your grill game with our Beef Short Ribs — now just £17.50 per kilo 🔥🥩

Perfect for proper low & slow BBQ cooking, beef short ribs are packed with rich flavour and become unbelievably tender when cooked the right way.

🔥 Mike’s top BBQ tips:
Prepare your ribs with a dry rub — try dry herbs, chilli, ginger, crushed mustard seeds, rock salt, and crushed peppercorns (or keep it plain and simple if you prefer).

Cook over indirect heat at around 120–140°C for 5–7 hours, letting the smoke and seasoning do all the hard work.

When they’re ready, the meat should pull clean from the bone with a deep bark on the outside and melt-in-the-mouth texture inside 🤤

Trust us… once you’ve tried short ribs on the BBQ, there’s no going back.
