I come from a big northern family, 1 of 7 brothers and sisters, where home cooking was taught at a young age and food has always been a prominent love. I do love a rudd

y good pub lunch with a pint of local ale as much as I like cooking up healthy recipes where I’ll try seasonal produce and anything that’s on trend like the latest super foods and gluten free. However this is not a blog where I’m not going to film myself at the nearest farmers market smelling kumquats and massaging avocados to try and titillate and tantalise your taste buds. I’m giving you an honest and real blog about local food, recipes for a balanced and healthy diet and where you can go to treat yourself.
