Come for a forage at the market on Sunday when new and guest producers and makers will be joining us for the first time. And if you need a new shopper then look out for the tote bag lady with her wonderful individual designs, roomy enough for all your purchases!

Thanks to everyone who ventured out on such a hot day yesterday! The previous night’s football may have meant a later start for some but we did have some shade and even the unexpected strong gust to make things interesting! 😅

Don’t be put off by the heat! We are expecting all our regular producers to be attending on Sunday. After all, they do have a living to make! As a genuine farmers’ market expect quality local produce sold direct by the producer with no retailers (or middlemen) involved:

Summer fruits and berries, lovely fresh picked veg and fantastic fungi were all available at the market yesterday. Plus all your regulars with their pies, patisserie and other goodies.

The ‘Tobyroc’ out at sea off Selsey. All our fresh sea fish and shellfish sold at the market comes from this small fishing boat working all weathers off the south coast. It’s a guarantee that the catch reaches you fresh as can be without passing through other hands first. What they have this Sunday will depend on what they find the day or two before.
