A career spanning decades, Mr Thing has contributed to compilations like “Strange Breaks & Mr Thing” and “Kings of Hip Hop” alongside DJ Premier. His performances are celebrated for their flawless mixing and diverse selection, encompassing hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, and soundtracks.

With support on the night from our own , plus it’s FREE entry so we advise getting here early to bag a table.

Join us at Doubles for an evening with Mr Thing, a British hip hop producer and DJ renowned for his exceptional turntablism and deep knowledge of vinyl culture.

We are proud to launch ‘RARE SLICES’ - a series of nights diving into our favourite DJ’s collections, starting with this UK legend. A former member of the Scratch Perverts, Mr Thing has collaborated with artists such as Yungun, Doc Brown, and Devise. He clinched the 2000 DMC UK DJ Championships and secured the 1999 DMC World Team Championships with the Scratch Perverts.

A career spanning decades, Mr Thing has contributed to compilations like “Strange Breaks & Mr Thing” and “Kings of Hip Hop” alongside DJ Premier. His performances are celebrated for their flawless mixing and diverse selection, encompassing hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, and soundtracks.

Our very own legend Matt Baila will be treating you to another very special 45 only set too and you’ll be able grab our famous pizzas all night long 🍕

And we've wrapped up our first Swap Society - Preloved Clothing Swap event! 🎶👗😍

This event wouldn't have been possible without the absolute support from our Swap community! Today, 402 pieces of clothing were brought in to be swapped!

Preloved events like this promote circular fashion and the slow fashion movement, and we are on a mission to take these events to trendy venues.
