1st XI - Ross Bretherton

What an amazing all-round day it was for Ross on Saturday! The opening bowler and middle order batter started off by taking 5-63 off 15 overs on the bounce - an amazing feat of stamina and skill. He followed it up with a composed 63 leading the side to victory against Walkden after the 1st XI made a poor start to the run chase.

Many supermarkets use a long list of additives in their bread. These are to extend shelf life, speed up production, make the texture seem softer or the crust look better.

Some supermarkets have been found marketing products as "freshly baked in store," when the dough was actually manufactured elsewhere, sometimes weeks before.

Our bread contains flour, water, yeast, and salt - the label would be a short one 🍞
