Good evening meat lovers,
We know it's still things on sticks weather, but young padawan Sabrina has decided it's a good time of the year to start taking Xmas orders - her first ever one ❤️❤️❤️
So... please feel free to bring her your lists, text her your lists, bombard her with lists... let's make her first Cj's Xmas one to truly remeber 🤣🤣🤣 (This rate Lauren will be retiring in November too!)
On a serious note, thank you as always for your support and kindness whilst we find our feet again and get Sab up to speed - for your trust, and your acceptance. It truly does overwhelm us, and it means everything ❤️ The smiles on the good days, the cuddles on the bad days, and the CONSTANT stream of abuse keep us always wanting to come in and do our very best for you all.

Afternoon meat lovers 🫠
We have just popped home for a shower and a siesta before heading back to finish prep for tomorrow.
We have been selling out of certain things (mostly of the stick variety!) pretty early on a Saturday, so we have upped our game a little!! We have done extra prep, but if you want to avoid disappointment, PLEASE pop us a message over on messenger and we can hold back what you need ❤️ You have until the time we wake up to get your orders in!!!
No BBQ packs this week - all mix and match deals instead 😍
•4oz homemade burgers - choose from classic steak, minted lamb, or hogroast. Any 4 for £5.50
•6oz steak burgers - 4 for £7.50
•Kofta kebabs - minted lamb or szechwan. Any 4 for £5.50
•Chicken fillet kebabs - various flavours - Any 4 for £5.
•2lb homemade sausage for £8 - choose from thin pork, farmers, jumbo hotdog sausages, stilton and spring onion, tomato, pork and chive.
Plenty of other goodies available too! Got a bit of balancing out to do with cuts, so will pop a cheeky offer on rump and sirloin too!
Please remeber we are a very small team, we prep everything fresh daily - when we sell out of something we can't just pop down to tesco for a restock 🤣 It's as frustrating for you as it is for us, but shouting at us for not having what you want left an hour before we close is not going to make it magically appear 🙈

Good afternoon meat lovers,
A slightly different supermarket price comparison for you today - mainly as it's one of our favourite games and we would like you to play along too.
We know it can sometimes be daunting going into a shop where everything is weighed in kg/lbs instead of in portions. Soooo... how does the price per kg compare to other everyday items? It's quite an eye opener!!! To name a few...
•Pet food and chewing gum at kg rates higher than most of our prime steak cuts
•Biscuits and crisps that cost more per kg than a beef joint or a nice shoulder of lamb
•Yorkshire puds - higher than mince and chicken breasts
•Saffron - well... lets not even go there 🙈
Yes, there is a valid argument that you dont always need a kg of snacks - but it's an interesting comparison nonetheless!
Next time you are out shopping, have a cheeky look and see what silly prices you can find!

Good morning meat lovers,
As you all know, our little shop has never just been about selling you guys meat - it's usually a place of banter and belly laughs and LOTS of dancing. As most of you also know, we are missing our main instigator of mischief, and grief is a nasty replacement.
So, this weekened we will be bringing back an old favourite to cheer us up and keep us going... DANCE FOR A DISCOUNT!
There are no real rules - any dance will do. As long as you make us smile 🤣 We personally enjoy the conga and a good old fashioned hoe-down!!!!

It's officially THINGS ON STICKS weather - and since the forecast is looking a bit nice for the Bank Holiday, we have cracked out the BBQ packs. Typically we sold out before we had a chance to get a decent photo, but here goes...

*4x 4oz homemade steak burgers
*4x 4oz homemade minty lamb burgers
*4x sticky bbq pork kebabs
*4x salt and pepper chicken fillet kebabs
*6x homemade farmer's sausage
All of these goodies can be yours for only £20!

Really hope this is the last one of these we have to share with you for a bit! It will be bittersweet reopening without the main man, however he will always be with us, watching over all his girls ❤️
Got a busy couple of days ahead remembering how to be butchers, but will keep you posted and let you know what we have on offer for the weekend.
