🚨 Hot off the press 📰🚨

Just been announced that former Mayor of the West Midlands, Sir Andy Street will be joining our last market of the Year as our Special Guest 📣🥳💂🎅

Sir Andy Street CBE served as the first Mayor of the West Midlands from 2017 to 2024, helping to establish the West Midlands Combined Authority and oversee a huge influx of public and private investment into his home region. 📈👍

He currently chairs Birmingham Repertory Theatre, and previously chaired the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership. Sir Andy is a big firm believer and advocate in local, real, food & champions the big support of Moseley Farmer’s Market, (including our sister markets across the county). Having joined us many times in the past - he will be joining us again to round up our 25th Year Celebrations. Mingle with our Traders & Farmers and will help kick off our Annual Christmas Carol Service 🎤😮🎵

We will also be blessed with The Right Reverend the former Bishop of Rochester & Lynn - Bishop James Langstaff. Alongside this, he also served as Bishop for HM Prisons and was one of the Bishops in the House of Lords. Also a Suffragan Bishop in the Diocese of Norwich … Bishop James will be with us to give the Market a warm Christmas Blessing and will lead us into our Christmas Carols, which will start at 10:35am in the heart of the market 🫶🏾💚

Don’t forget that we will have two segments of Carol singing this year - 10.35 am & 11:05 am. So, do come & join us for our Last Market of the Year & our Christmas Market. Let’s round up our 2️⃣5️⃣th Year with a real festive bang 🧨🎉🎄

Our Charity this month is Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid (Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid) … For over 40 years BSWA has provided frontline domestic violence & abuse support services to women and children in the Birmingham and Solihull area. They are a registered charity, and are part of the umbrella group of organisations Women’s Aid Federation England. Do pop by & give them a warm welcome back to Moseley Farmers’ Market 🙋‍♀️💜

We also give a BIG welcome back to Olivar Caicunes (Olive Oil) … they will be back as they have been away for a while with their new harvest raw, unfiltered olive oil from the foothills of La Sierra de las Nieves. 🫒🇪🇸

And we also give a big warm welcome to Faerie Tale Farm Alpacas - a family run farm located on a picturesque 15 acres in Kenilworth Warwickshire. Alpacas are gentle, friendly and intelligent animals, and will come and visit us next summer. But for tomorrow they provide a beautiful soft and incredibly warm fleece. They will be bringing their onsite shop, that offers hand knitted 100% British alpaca accessories and knitwear using our own alpaca fleeces. This certainly will warm you up for Christmas 🦙🇵🇪

And lastly we give a warm welcome to local new business Greek Aura - with a true passion for authentic flavors and Mediterranean traditions, they will bring to your table, carefully crafted recipes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A culinary journey to the heart of Greece. ❤️🇬🇷
