A decision meal 🥘 with full of flavour. Let’s get cooking 🧑‍🍳

Ingredients:

- 500g fresh beans
- 2 vine tomatoes
- 1 medium-sized brown onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce (or grated tomatoes)
- Olive oil
- Bay leaves
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 lemon

Instructions:

1. Begin by removing the strings from the beans and cutting them into your desired size.
2. Next, finely chop the onion.
3. Place a pan on the stove over medium heat and add a generous amount of olive oil.
4. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns a light pink color.
5. Crush one clove of garlic and chop the other two, then add them to the pan. Sauté until the garlic becomes fragrant.
6. Add the beans, salt to taste, and a couple of bay leaves. Stir well, then cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes.
7. After 15 minutes, add the tomato sauce (or grated tomatoes) and mix well. Continue to cook on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
8. Place the chopped tomatoes on top of the beans without stirring. Squeeze the juice from a quarter of a lemon over the dish.
9. Pour boiling water into the pan, just enough to reach the level of the tomatoes. Cover the pan again and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
10. While cooking, check occasionally to ensure the water doesn’t evaporate completely. Add more boiling water if needed.

Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
