🧙‍♀️✨ Welcome to the Runcible Spoon School of Baking! ✨🍰

Things have taken a rather magical turn at The Runcible Spoon… apparently ordinary baking just wasn’t exciting enough for us! 🤣

The professors have been busy perfecting their Cakecraft, practising a little Scone Sorcery and brewing rather suspicious quantities of hot chocolate. ☕️🪄

We can neither confirm nor deny that Jayne’s cheese scones rise by magic… although we’ve always wondered. 👀

No spells required to visit us — just an appreciation for good food, good cake and perhaps a little bit of mischief! ❤️

Join us on Friday 11th September at 7.30pm for our next Supper Night, and this time we’re heading to the Middle East!

Expect fragrant spices, pomegranate, saffron, pistachios and rosewater in a gorgeous 3-course menu featuring a sharing mezze to start, slow-braised Persian lamb or Khoresht Bademjan, followed by a choice of traditional Persian ice cream or Orange Blossom & Almond Cake. 😋

We’ll welcome you with a Pomegranate & Rose Fizz and finish the evening with fresh mint tea and a rather special stuffed Medjool date.

So what does autumn mean at The Runcible Spoon?

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our French evening — we really hope you thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and your little taste of France at The Runcible Spoon. ❤️

Unfortunately, access to our usual favourite wall for taking photos was slightly limited thanks to the building works… so you’ll just have to take our word for it that everything looked and tasted absolutely scrumptious! 😋

Thank you, as always, for supporting our Supper Nights. We love putting these evenings together and seeing so many familiar and new faces around the tables.
