Farmhouse Fayre has now been trading for over twenty-five years, serving the local community. With the shop based in the heart of Newport and the wholesale branch of the business operating out of the farm at Atherfield. The Morris family have been farming for generations and took on Farmhouse Fayre ten years ago as a good place to sell their homegrown produce.

🌊 Today is World Ocean Day 🌊
🦈 To celebrate World Ocean Day we have created a window display highlighting why we should all protect our oceans!
🌏 We were approached by Planet Aware and were asked to take part in celebrating World Ocean day by creating a window that was ocean themed. Needless to say we jumped at a chance!
🐙 Our window display looks very Blue and ocean themed but we also wanted to highlight the importance of reusing and the impact of not reusing items!
🐋 We have learnt alot about the ocean and what we can do to help and if you are passing our shop today why not stop and have a read of some of the useful information included in our ocean backdrop!

🎉 Wahey it’s the weekend 🎉
🌈 It might be a bit grey outside but our shop is just bursting with bright colourful produce today!
🥔 We have some delicious Lincolnshire new potatoes in which scrape really well and taste amazing!
🍒 English cherries are now in and taste delicious. Hopefully another week or two we will be getting the IOW cherries in!
💚 English rhubarb is back in and is looking very tasty for all those pies and crumbles!
🍓 English strawberries have hit the shop again and at only £3 a punnet!
🤩 Come on in and see the rainbow of produce we have in store for you!

🤩 Good morning to you all 🤩
🌱 We have been busy on the farm again this week seeding. Dougie has been giving us a hand and he’s been a great help! We have managed to seed most of our cauliflower seeds and all of the cabbage, broccoli and purple sprouting.
💚 The seeding that we did over the bank holiday are coming up nicely so watch this space for us planting them out the start of July!
🤩 Our shop is looking fully stocked today with a fresh delivery of all our dried products and some new products too!

🌱 We have been busy over the past week seeding our winter cauliflower, savoy cabbage, broccoli and purple sprouting plants!
🧑🏻‍🌾 It has been pretty hot to say the least seeding in our workshop out of the sun but we have managed to seed by hand all the varieties we need!
🚜 When the seeds have grown and are big enough to be planted out in the field we will then be able to harvest them in September onwards through to next may!
😀 We are looking forward to some lovely home grown produce 💚

🤩 We have some delicious juicy soft fruit in our shop which is guaranteed to quench your thirst in this hot weather:

🎉 Good morning to you all 🎉
🤩 Our shop has been filled right up today with colourful produce and it is looking fresh and inviting as you walk through the door!
⭐️ We have added two new flavours to The Glorious Mess meringues Caramel and raspberry with white chocolate! Yum yum!
⭐️ Our over night oats and flaxseeds have been restocked!
🍑 Doughnut peaches are now in and taste sweet and juicy!
🥣 Our £1 bowls are looking good with plum tomatoes, apples and nadorcotts added!
💜 The purple globe artichokes look super tasty and if your an artist they would be a great picture to paint!
⭐️ English rhubarb is really coming into its own with its skin now dark red!

🥔 Potato planting is a go 🥔
🤩 We had an exciting day on the farm yesterday planting potatoes!
🧑🏻‍🌾 We had the A team onboard with Philip and Will getting everything all set up, Alfie ridging up the ground into bulks, grandad destoning and preparing all the soil then Philip and Alfie rode on the planter tipping the seed potatoes into the hopper making sure they were all going in one by one!
🥔 All being well our lovely home grown potatoes should be ready the middle of July!

🎉 Wahey it’s the weekend and what a colourful one it is in our shop!
🤩 Our amazing team have been very busy creating a colourful celebration for your eyes as you walk through the door!
🛍️ We have some exciting news as we now have our new logo printed onto re useable Jute bags which are available to purchase in our shop!
🌈 Our window displays have been brightened up with a colourful bright rainbow! We decided to create a rainbow because so many of you have said that the shop looks like a big rainbow of colours!
💚 All the beautiful fresh produce is looking very inviting today with Cornish new potatoes, IOW Asparagus, Apricots, Cherries, Mango, kale, Broccoli, IOW tomatoes and much more!
⭐️ So come on in and see our team who will be waiting to say a big hello!
