📢 Part-Time Shop Assistant Wanted 📢

We are looking for a reliable and friendly person to join our team on a part-time basis.

Requirements:
• Must be 18+
• Must be available to work weekends
• Flexibility to cover extra shifts during staff holidays/sickness would be preferred

Retail/customer service experience is a bonus but not essential.

Following our earlier post about the theft of a bar of chocolate, we want to make something very clear — it’s not “just a bar of chocolate.” Every item taken without paying contributes to the rising costs we are already facing as a small business trying to stay open.

We are dealing with theft on a daily basis, and it’s unfair on our hardworking staff who are simply here to do their jobs and serve the community. Taking advantage of them is unacceptable.

We are increasing our vigilance and will be taking further action where necessary. Please respect our shop, our staff, and our business.

Lately we have found shoplifting is on the rise but be aware so will prosecutions.

You may think you haven’t been caught but CCTV is being reviewed and all thieves are being reported to Police and will be getting a visit soon

You will be hopefully prosecuted, barred for life and other shop keepers will be made aware of your activities.

To protect local businesses in these hard times, our view is if caught and convicted for stealing in one shop then you should be barred from every shop in that town or area

Thankfully there is only a small percentage of people stoop to these low levels of shoplifting jeopardising survival of local businesses in our community
